Join us for a unique evening that combines our popular Happy Hour networking with a corporate “Have a Go at Curling” experience. This  promises to be a fun and memorable event for all abilities.

Curling is a Winter Olympic team sport, often described as “chess on ice”. Players slide polished granite stones towards a target while teammates sweep the ice to influence the stone’s path. It’s surprisingly strategic, highly addictive, and suitable for all ages and abilities.

PBA will shout your first beer or wine, along with finger food. If you’re heading onto the ice, however, it’s strictly non-alcoholic drinks until you’re safely back on solid ground!

What to wear

• Sneakers (the club provides rubber grippers to fit over your shoes)
• Comfortable trousers or track pants
• A warm top or jacket

The Auckland Curling Club will provide all the equipment and expert instruction, so no experience is necessary.

Not keen on sliding the stone on the ice? No problem. A delivery stick can be used to push the stone, making curling an accessible sport that welcomes participants of all abilities.
