Penrose Business Association crime report for February 2022
(These numbers are not official “crime statistics” but can be used as a guide to track reported incidents)
There was a slight increase in reported crime for Penrose during January 2022 compared to incidents reported during December 2021.
Commercial Burglaries appear to be the most common crime type occurring within the Penrose area during January 2022.
There was an increase of 11 burglaries in Penrose during January compared to Dec 2021, and two additional thefts from cars. The good news is that we had seven less motor vehicle thefts for January.
The streets in Penrose where multiple incidents were reported during January 2022 were:
Green Park Rd – Four burglaries and three vehicle thefts.
GSR – eight incidents, with three occurring at the same location. (the majority of incidents on this road were commercial burglaries)
Hugo Johnson Drive – four Burglaries
Walls Rd – Two burglaries
Cain Rd – Three burglaries
Church St – Two burglaries
Burrett Ave – Three burglaries
