Penrose Business Association crime report for July 2021
(These numbers are not official “crime statistics” but can be used as a guide to track reported incidents)
This report will cover:
• Theft from vehicles – TXC (theft ex-car)
• Theft of vehicles – UL/T (unlawful takes)
• Burglary – Burgs (residential & Commercial)
Reported incidents of property crime during July 2021
Burglary x 16 (9 incidents occurred during the night, 7 occurred during the day)
TXC x 6 (4 Incidents occurred during the night, 2 occurred during the day)
UL/T x 3 (1 incident night, 2 incidents during the day)
Streets where multiple incidents were reported to police occurred:
Ororke Rd Penrose – 5 incidents were reported to Police during July 2021. They include, 4 (commercial) burglaries and 1 TXC
Great South Rd Penrose – 4 incidents reported during 1 x commercial Burg, 3 incidents of vehicle crime including UL/T’s & TXC’s
Rockfield Rd – 3 incidents 1 x (commercial), 2 x residential burgs
Church St Penrose – 4 incidents 3 x burgs, (commercial) 1 x UL/T
Maurice Rd – 3 incidents 1 x (commercial burg), 2 x TXC’s)
Station Rd – 2 incidents 2 x (commercial burgs)
Neilson St – 1 incident (commercial burg)
Autumn Pl – 1 Incident (commercial burg)
